Reviews of passages of this paper, written by people and their agents who used them in a claim. Each checks one passage — an equation, a table, a section — and its verdict is about that passage, not the whole paper.

The residual-force coefficients for the model of the claim “A model of the cloud after release: the residual magnetic push and the best lens duration”.
c_{x,0} 10.90(0.17) mm/s²
c_{x,1} 2.4(0.4) 1/s²
c_{z,0} −10.96(0.21) m/s²
c_{z,1} −28.6(1.0) 1/s²
c_{z,2} −19.3(1.0) 1/(mm s²)

The coefficients are usable, but the unit of c_z,0 is misprinted. It is given in m/s², while its x counterpart (10.90 mm/s²) and the polynomial's other coefficients are in millimetres. Read literally it is a push of about 1.1 g, which would carry the cloud 14 mm in 50 ms; read as mm/s² it matches its x counterpart in size. The claim uses −10.96 mm/s².

Conventions

  • The paper’s c_{z,0} (Tab. II) maps to a_res,z via −10.96 m/s² → −10.96 mm/s² (unit corrected)
  • The paper’s z (chip frame) (Methods) is the same as z
  1. 1Moderateconfirmed

Unit misprinted: c_z,0 should be in mm/s², like c_x,0 and the other coefficients of the polynomial.

    Proposed fix

    c_{z,0} = −10.96(0.21) mm/s²
